Stacy Cary is a mentor with Tech Wildcatters, an organization that invests resources and funds in high-potential business-to-business (B2B) technology start-ups. Stacy Cary comes to this role with decades of business experience, which includes helping her father in oil field development, owning and running her own ranch, and pursuing real estate investments. With the guidance of Stacy Stine Cary and other mentors, emerging companies received the support they need to launch successful enterprises.

At Tech Wildcatters 2015 pitch day, 14 start-ups had an opportunity to present their business concepts at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The event featured traditional businesses, such as a company that allows individuals and businesses to transact via an independent payment solution, as well as businesses with innovative approaches, including a company that links the mobile gaming market and iGaming industry to allow players to compete against one another and win real prizes.

Although the venue is large, the Tech Wildcatters event had a personal feel by treating guests to snacks, happy hours, and events. Attendees viewed pitch day as an important milestone in the emergence of the start-up ecosystem in the Dallas area.
